ITSM/ITAM: Senior Product Engineer / Developer

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an ITSM/ITAM: Product Engineer / Developer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for ITSM/ITAM processes and tools.
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions (custom applications, integrations, scripts) to support ITSM/ITAM functions.
  • Configure and customize ITSM/ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Ivanti) to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ITSM/ITAM tools and other enterprise systems.
  • Automate ITSM/ITAM processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and other automation tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ITSM/ITAM solutions.
  • Document all technical designs, implementations, and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of the latest ITSM/ITAM best practices, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new ITSM/ITAM tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (IT Operations, Security, Business Units).
  • 6+ years of experience in software development or systems administration.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM and/or ITAM principles and best practices (ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 55000).
  • Experience with one or more ITSM/ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Ivanti, Jira Service Desk).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with API integrations and web services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
