Lead UI Artist
Epic Games is looking for a passionate Lead UI Artist to join our Fortnite Battle Royale team. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team of UI Artists, ensuring the production of high-quality UI Art for major initiatives of Fortnite.
Skills
- 7+ years of experience designing and implementing in-game UI
- Experience managing a team of 1-4 people
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, or comparable design software
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other game engines
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in Motion Design and animation
- Experience creating 3D game assets in software like 3ds Max or Maya
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of UI Artists
- Ensure quality and consistency of UI Art produced
- Work collaboratively with UX Design, Tech Design, and Code
- Create and implement design systems, game menus, HUD elements, iconography, and more
- Contribute to shipping product team features on time and to quality
