OverviewHow You'll Make an ImpactEpsilon is seeking a Database Developer II to join our strong and steady Development team. You will implement, maintain and support proprietary database systems as part of our technical delivery team. Your primary responsibilities will focus on the development, implementation and testing of data extraction, transformation and load programs for large database projects.The Database Developer II will report to the Senior Manager, Database Development. You will work closely alongside our internal teams of Quality Assurance, Business System Analysts, and Project Managers.We didn't become an industry leader through corporate stagnation. If you want to work for a company that encourages advancement, then come join us!What You'll Achieve• Impact: You will aggregate data sources for the clients to deliver targeted marketing campaigns and develop custom CRM solutions.• CareerGrowth: If successful, the Database Developer II may gain exposure to other clients where you can make the most impact. Also, you may have an opportunity to level up to a Senior Database Developer role helping to mentor more junior developers and hone your leadership skills.Who You Are• What you'll bring with you:• Experience working as part of a Tech team, understanding business requirements, functional, and technical specifications while analyzing and defining data flow requirements and preparing applicable system documentation and operation manuals.• Experience developing using core solution standards and implements initial data loads for database marketing projects. Performing transformation and loading of data according to the business specifications.• Experience defining, preparing, executing and implementing data validation and unit testing methods to ensure data quality.• Experience with maintenance of applications using Oracle and Linux software. Experience with Oracle packages, procedures, functions, analytics functions, exchange partitions, bulk load functionalities will be a major plus.• Initiative - you possess a can-do attitude to overcome challenges and are capable of self-directing with support from your mentor; you have a motivation to learn new applications and domains.• ProblemSolving - Analytical skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.• Collaboration - experience working collaboratively alongside various teams across the organization.
