Equipment Operator II Monday - Friday

Description

The Equipment Operator operates forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks while maintaining clean and safe equipment as well as the security of the warehouse. You will move and load product while assisting with physical inventories, cycle counts and ensuring proper stock rotation. Minimum one year equipment experience to be considered.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:30am to 2:30pm *Overtime is Required at Peaks*

How You Will Make An Impact

• Operates forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks
• Maintains the clean and safe equipment, reporting service requests as needed
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety
• Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas
• Moves inbound freight safely and moves products to storage locations
• Assists with physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
• Assists in building cleanup as required
• Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Education

High School or better.

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
• Experience using 1 to 3 pieces of warehouse equipment
• Minimum 1 year experience on Cherry Picker and Reach Truck
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment
