The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority is excited to welcome a Maintenance Worker to our dynamic team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, tackling a variety of tasks to keep our facilities and equipment in top shape. As a Maintenance Worker, your day-to-day will include performing general maintenance and repair work on our diverse facilities, handling landscaping duties like mowing and trash pickup, and assisting with the upkeep of our docks and piers. You’ll also get to operate a range of equipment from small lawn care tools to larger vehicles like tractors and dump trucks—all essential for maintaining our beautiful waterfront. Experience with a Marine Travelift will be beneficial as you assist in the boat storage operations, including hauling, storage, and launching of larger vessels. We believe in providing on-the-job training, so don’t worry if you’re new to some equipment! We're looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude who can work both independently and collaboratively. While a valid driver's license is required, previous experience with general maintenance and repair work is highly preferred. Familiarity with water safety and experience in the marina sector, including boat operations, would be a great asset, but it's not a dealbreaker! If you love working outdoors and are ready to be a part of something bigger, we want to hear from you. Come join us and make a difference at the Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority!
