Job Title: Business Analyst ILocation: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office)Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)Work Schedule: Between 7 AM and 5 PMPay Rate: $50.00/hr on W2 to 52.00/hr on W2Job Overview:The Business Analyst I will analyze business processes to identify, evaluate, develop, and/or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements. This role includes creating detailed user requirements, providing consultation on business process redesign, and assisting in developing system documentation and training materials. The position supports Evergreen and requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in various tools and systems.Top 3-5 Must-Have Skills:• Analytical Skills: Ability to dissect and interpret complex data and processes.• Proficient in Excel: Expertise in utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting.• Supply Chain Acumen: Understanding of supply chain processes and systems.• Communication: Strong skills in presentation, written, and verbal communication.• Dashboard Visualization Tools: Experience with at least one or two of the following: Excel, PowerBI, Tableau.Nice-to-Have Skills:• Microsoft Products: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.• Data Mining/Sourcing: Familiarity with Alteryx for data manipulation and analysisPrimary Responsibilities:• Requirements Gathering: Document business objectives, specifications, and requirements for small to medium-sized projects.• Testing: Develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts, and plans.• Business Flows and Processes: Define, design, and document business flows and processes.• Business Rules: Define and articulate business rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency, and identify and resolve data quality issues.• End-User Support: Provide support for applications within the organization.• Problem Resolution: Analyze, propose, and document solutions for problems affecting projects or day-to-day operations.• SDLC and Quality Validation: Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes, and application processes.• Communication: Communicate status, solutions, and concerns effectively across teams and functions.• Cross-Functional Knowledge: Provide business system and process alternatives based on cross-functional and business knowledge.• Training: Train others as needed on specific business or systems expertise and assist in developing training materials.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business.• Experience: 5+ years of experience in applying information systems solutions to business problems, including system testing, validation, problem resolution, and training.• Skills: Strong knowledge of application development processes, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
