Position Summary

As a Manager - Product (Payments Risk) you will be exposed to the fraud risk and chargeback ecosystem in the digital payments landscape within a fast-paced technology organization. Your main responsibilities will be to define, develop and execute the fraud risk and chargeback products. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to design solutions/products that align with business objectives and aim to increase value for the company. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions via internal capabilities, existing partnerships as well as evaluation of new ones. The ideal candidate must have a 360 view combining product management, fraud risk and chargeback knowledge and fintech understanding as well as a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions.

You will be located in Athens and will be part of the Etraveli Group's Fintech Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake the entire fraud risk and chargeback management product lifecycle from product discovery to product delivery
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to define, develop and then own the product roadmap and execute against it ensuring timely delivery and high quality
  • Provide the business requirements for the implementation of the product and its new features that provide clear guidelines towards the involved cross-functional leads including development
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer impact and business value
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify the emerging trends, industry-leading best practices, technological advancements, competitive landscape as well as the up-to-date needs in the context of fraud prevention and chargeback management to ensure the product remains competitive and effective
  • Analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for new features and improvements
  • Propose new initiatives & innovative solutions with high impact and support them by formulating business cases under a number-driven and multifaceted approach including economics, performance and customer experience
  • Assess the risks involved with these new solutions and propose mitigating measures to minimize them
  • Identify and evaluate new partners, by supporting RFPs under a well organized approach to assess capabilities fit with Etraveli Group’s needs and tech ecosystem
  • Manage communications with existing partners on operational and product aspects, attend QBRs to ensure being up-to-date with new products and opportunities and drive action plans
  • Maintain top responsibility for product performance and work closely with relevant stakeholders to identify areas for improvement
  • Degree in Business subject areas, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or Science
  • 3+ years of proven product management experience in e-commerce, in payments risk management / fraud prevention
  • In depth knowledge of digital payments industry and strong understanding of fraud types and chargeback processes within the e-commerce environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and delivering complex product roadmaps and analyzing and effectively communicating metrics to support recommendations
  • Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve commitment towards results
  • Strong numerical & organizational skills combined with business understanding
  • Data driven/360 view thinking along with strong critical, analytical and investigation skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to take ownership in a fast growing environment
  • Ability to prioritize, effectively handle multiple projects under a minimum supervision and honor deadlines
  • Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and pay attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills & excellent command of the English language
  • High level of responsibility & integrity combined with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes and multiple priorities
