Key Analytical Responsibilities
Routine testing to support a Quality Control Analytical laboratory
Execute multiple analytical methods including UV-Spectrophotometry, HPLC, analytics, pH, raw materials
Perform colorimetric tests including anthrone and uronic acid
Execute test methods, tabulate data and provide data interpretation
Troubleshooting in support of investigative testing may be required
Technical writing in support of SOP revisions/audit trail may be required
Assist in revision of test methods, LIMS builds and creation of training materials as necessary
Key Group Leader Responsibilities
Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
Help establish second shift team and shift changeover processes
Ensure coverage and performance
Foster morale and teamwork
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
At least 2-4 years' experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting having performed analytical chemistry testing
Laboratory supervisory experience
Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance requirements for Quality Control laboratories
Strong working knowledge of LIMS
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to analytical methods (UV-vis, HPLC, NMR)
Familiarity working with concentrated acids while wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to safety and environmental practices and procedures
