Telecom Service Support Engineer - Level-2 position

Job responsibilities will include:

·       Level2 network monitoring and problem handling

·       Technical handling of L2 Service Requests and Incidents investigation for supporting
Euronet global business operation and growth

·       Working with internal Euronet teams across the globe on telecom operational issues and in
from smaller to medium sized projects

·       Work with external service providers and vendors on telecom operational issues and smaller
projects, including onsite work in Euronet datacenters

·       Provide on-call (at home standby) support on a periodic basis

·       Occasionally international travelling is required

Requirements:

·       College or University degree in Engineering - preferably Information Technology or
Electrical Engineering

·       LAN/WAN network technologies, protocols

·       IP routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP)

·       VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, GetVPN, VTI etc.)

·       Network security technologies (Cisco firewalls)

·       Minimum 2 years hands-on experience at monitoring and operational activities
at global/enterprise grade networks

·       Basic knowledge at MS Windows based desktop & server technologies

·       Experience at multinational workplace

·       Experience at ITIL based workflows

·       Good English written and verbal skills

·       Good problem handling skills

·       Capability for strictly keeping processes and workflows

Advantageous to have:

·       Experience in Financial Service Provider or Banking IT ecosystems

·       CCNA level knowledge, valid CCNA certification is an advantage

·       Familiarity with ITIL framework

·       Linux user or advanced user level knowledge
