Evening Custodian

Power Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 6 pm to 2:30 am.

position details/responsibilities…

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.

here’s what we’re looking for…

Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule of 6pm to 2:30am.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Relevant janitorial experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
Self-motivated to work independently as needed to support the group effort and ability to work effectively with a team.
Flexible team-player who is adaptable to change.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.
