Summary

We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join our marketing team at Ocrolus. Events are an important part of Ocrolus' marketing strategy to support demand generation, retention, and brand recognition. This position will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, execution and measurement of both digital and in-person events (such as conferences, trade shows, speaking engagements, sponsorships and webinars).

What you'll do

  • Primarily be responsible for all the logistics that go into planning and hosting a digital or in person events
  • Project manage events from beginning to end (everything from concepting themes, to planning logistics, to overseeing custom booth creation, to coordinating guests, to pre/post-event communication plans, to tracking costs and budgets)
  • Work with a high level of initiative and collaboration
  • Think strategically but also be a doer
  • Utilize a balanced knowledge of both event management and general marketing campaign principles
  • Partner with many global internal and external stakeholders (US and India)
  • Provide clear and direct communication with strong attention to detail in project planning
  • Manage vendors to execute top-notch in person and digital events

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration or related field
  • 3+ years of B2B experience working in event planning within a corporate marketing team
  • Understanding of general marketing campaign principles and technologies
  • Highly organized, with strong planning and project management skills, being able to build timelines and back into dates and identify dependencies to keep the plan in motion
  • Great communicator with interpersonal skills who is savvy in networking and working with many internal and external stakeholders in addition
  • Experience managing relationships with different vendors, organizations within the tech industry, agencies, on-site event staff and more
  • Dexterity to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and collaborating across teams are crucial to success
  • Proven success of working independently and having excellent time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the US to our higher tier events

Bonus points

  • Experience with digital event solutions such as Cvent, Zoom, Filo or others
  • Hubspot or similar marketing automation platform basic knowledge
  • Experience working with Salesforce

Note

The full-time salary range for this role is between $110,000- $120,000 + benefits + equity. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Disclosure as required by N.Y.C. Admin. Code §§ 8-102 and 8-107(32) of the full time salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in New York City.
