About the Role:
The Event Specialist II will report to the Hospitality Manager in Real Estate Services and coordinates all aspects of events for internal, external and FRS clients while maintaining exemplary customer service. This role is responsible for planning events for all types of events, including VIPs as needed and coordinates logistics and registration activities for those who plan to host an event at the Dallas Fed.
You Will:
Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and evaluate events for internal, external, and Federal Reserve System guests.
Monitor, schedule, and confirm the availability and best usage of space in our conference center.
Research and recommend available venues for off- sites events as needed.
Ensures a consistent, high level of service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of planning.
Coordinate logistics and maintain on-going communication with colleagues and vendors.
Connect with customers for planning, coordination, and execution of events.
Coordinate with on-site teams to ensure all events run smoothly.
You Have:
Associate degree or equivalent experience. Meeting/Event planner certification preferred.
Minimum experience required for the position 3 years of experience in event coordination/planning, logistic coordination, knowledge of event software, working with high level executives.
Outstanding multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Must work with a moderate level of guidance and direction.

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.
This role supports the ongoing operation of the Bank and requires working onsite at the Federal Reserve work location 100% of the time.
