In your role, you will:
- Plan and flawlessly execute Bombardier Defense trade shows, hosted receptions, aircraft deliveries, aircraft demos/statics, PR events and other programs and activities as needed
- Coordinate all aspects of events including venue registration/selection, badges, catering, audiovisual, transportation, lodging, booth requirements, marketing collateral and other related activities from development to execution
- Lead weekly governance/management/coordination meetings for events
- Ensure Bombardier brand is well represented at events
- Research, recommend, select and manage suppliers to support events
- Provide on-site support for internal & external event attendees
- Create and communicate Event Information Packages (contain logistics re hotels/badges/transport/attendees)
- Develop digital invitations, design event RSVP pages and manage event registration lists
- Maintain project timelines, status reports and budget for all assigned events
- Maintain Defense budget tracker and ensure all Defense activity is reflected in tracker and remains in budget
- Maintain Giveaway Inventory in support of Defense events and coordinate shipment ensuring all stays within budget
- Coordinating multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives
- Coordinate with Sales team on custom
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have 2-5 years of relevant experience; aerospace Defense industry experience a plus
- You hold a Bachelor's degree specializing in Marketing or equivalent experience
- You have strong oral and written communication skills
- You have the ability to lift up to 20lbs of materials and be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- You can travel frequently: 25% (both domestic & international)
- You have a valid passport
- Self-sufficient, you are detail-oriented and have a strategic mind
- You respect timelines and can manage many projects, while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment
- You bring passion and enthusiasm to your work and can motivate a team to generate results
- You set clear targets while tracking and reporting on progress
- You like challenges and demonstrate initiative and creativity
- You are eager to learn and develop yourself
