Job Title: Events Staff
General Description:
Conduct sales of special events and concerts being held at the facility or offsite company events. Assist in set up of concert area prior to performances.

Supervision Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in set-up and preparation for concerts, special events and venues to be held, provide support for special events and concerts, this support may include but is not limited to, set up, table ware preparation, serving, running errands, breakdown, clean up and post event wrap up. Provide support during offsite events, including but not limited to, preparation, set-up, running errands, answer questions and interact with guests, handing out promotional items, clean up and post event wrap up.
- Processes ticket sales via walk-in patrons and telephone reservations, by taking patron’s name, payment, and winning experience card number, when applicable. Provide ticket or confirmation number for ticket retrieval if confirmation number has been assigned in absence of producing a ticket.
- Respond to questions in person or via telephone on upcoming events to be held in Showplace.
- Work with Player Development Guests Services department in determining seats that have been assigned to be given to high end players, ensuring the correct coordination of all tickets available for upcoming venues in the Showplace have been accounted for.
- Assist patrons to locate assigned seats and assist with crowd flow during concert intermission. Direct patrons to dining, various gaming entertainment, restrooms and any additional services provided by the facility.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to work in fast paced, smoked filled casino environment and work as a team player.
- Must be able to work varied hours, as needed including weekend and holidays.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft software, casino based system and be able to type 25 WPM.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Training And Experience:
- Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred.
Licenses, Certifications, Other:
- Be able to pass a background check and receive a gaming permit from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
- Complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties.
- May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds, possess good manual dexterity, and hand/eye coordination, but these requirements are based on needs of facility and staffing.
Work Environment:
May be working in areas where temperatures fluctuate, have poor ventilation or areas where smoking may be allowed. May have to work in high traffic areas or places where people congregate for long period of time. May experience extreme weather conditions on the job as well as on the way to and from specific job sites.
