EvenUp is hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition to build our recruiting engine and help identify, evaluate, and ultimately secure the best talent to drive EvenUp’s growth. This role will take a data-driven approach and optimize the hiring funnels across our Go-to-Market, Technical, Operational, and Administrative roles, including designing sourcing strategies across the US and Canada, articulating EvenUp’s unique career value proposition, partnering closely with hiring managers to set them up for success, and designing interview plans that identity the best candidates for roles at EvenUp. This team member will manage the full recruiting team, scaling it as necessary and helping current team members grow in their roles.
What you'll do:
Manage the recruiting team, including managers, and add additional team members as needed
Own the full recruiting process from sourcing through closing for both specialized roles and high-volume hiring as needed
Identify and manage key acquisition KPIs including time to hire, new hire performance, and specific pass-through rates
Define and communicate a clear articulation of the special opportunity of working at EvenUp for the recruiting team to effectively share with candidates
Advise and support hiring managers in designing interview plans and exercises that will identify key talent
Research and prioritize the highest ROI sources of talent and invest accordingly
Coach all team members on successful interviewing strategies, legal requirements, and how to make the most out of evaluative sessions
Own and optimize EvenUp’s career page and public presence on external career sites
Align recruiting team resources with the prioritized needs of the business, shifting team members and assignments as needed
Bring an ownership mentality to all you do–always be thinking about how we can find the best possible talent to support EvenUp’s next phase of growth
What we look for:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or similar roles
Experience managing a team of recruiters and facilitating team members’ growth
Successful track record of identifying and closing both Go-to-Market and Technical talent
Experience recruiting high-volume front-line workforces and hiring for talent in the United States, Canada, and off-shore
Clear understanding of key recruiting KPIs with a track record of achieving quantitative goals
Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to share best practices across an organization
Experience in a high-growth and fast-moving start-up environments
Team player willing to jump in and play any role to help the team and company be successful
Positive and persuasive personality who enjoys sharing the benefits of working at EvenUp with candidates
