Executive Assistant - Distribution Team

What You'll Do:
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to collaborate and support our Distribution team within Benefits and Protection! In this role, you’ll apply strategic calendar management, inbox and task management, and meeting support for the Director of Distribution Operations, Director of Distribution Initiative and Strategic Relationship Lead.

Daily tasks include:

  • Provide strong, effective administrative support including meeting planning, running/creating reports, assistance with presentations and materials
  • Proactively identify areas where additional support can be provided by working with the Distribution team to uncover and identify these opportunities
  • Plan, coordinate, and organize events and meetings, secure travel arrangements, and create itineraries
  • Collaborate and engage with Senior Management on various tasks
  • Partner closely with other Administrative Assistants as well as associates within the business units on requests
  • Work independently and professionally with internal and external partners while providing excellent customer service
  • Assist, including ability to take the lead, on special projects

Who You Are:
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • You have 6+ years related experience
  • You are Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Typing and proficiency in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office) and the operation of office equipment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
  • Ability to research and resolve problems and make recommendations for solutions to issues.
  • Strong Relationship Management experience.
  • Prior Financial Industry background not required but preferred
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $27.40 - $37.45 / hour Additional Information:

Location

We are hiring for our Des Moines, IA office location. This role offers the ability of a hybrid work arrangement. You'll work with your leader to determine which days are in office each week.
