About the role
Although we are a remote company, we currently have an opportunity for a candidate to support our Founder/CEO in San Jose, CA. The ideal person for the role is someone who is dependable, organized, and able to thrive through ambiguity. We face new and exciting challenges every day, so you must also be flexible, self-sufficient, and able to multitask and prioritize competing demands. We are seeking someone who will take pride and full ownership of their work in this important role.
What you’ll do
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings and conference calls.
- Compile and distribute updated meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation
- Assist in creating and updating slides, reports, and other company communications for internal and external meetings
- Act as an office and facilities manager for any operational needs, e.g. supplies, mailing, shipping, maintenance, equipment, bills, and errands
- Sort, scan, and upload sensitive material for operational needs on behalf of the exec.
- Conduct research and gather information to support the addition of an on-site headquarters
- Assist in other tasks and projects as needed
Who you are
- Organized multitasker. Your organizational skills help you to move easily among different tasks and to prioritize your work, conducting tasks ranging from research to outreach to follow through. You’re a highly organized multi-tasker who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Nimble and agile. We’re in our early stages as a platform and company. We value team members who can move fast, fail forward, and be data-driven. You move with a sense of urgency while still being agile, able to identify gaps and move among tasks as needed.
- Quick learner and highly adaptable. Learning is a never-ending process for you. You enjoy learning and can pick up on new concepts quickly. You are also open and can adapt easily to new processes and ways of thinking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You communicate clearly and empathetically in writing and verbally. You build trust with team members through active listening, follow through, and open communication.
- Experience using Google Suite. You can easily navigate through new technology and have experience working with Google applications such as Gmail and Gcal.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Pay Transparency
The annual base salary range for this role is $46,000 -$61,000 USD. Actual salary will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. As a remote-first company, we take a geographically-neutral approach to compensation and set our US range based on job function and level, regardless of location. GoLinks’ total compensation package for full-time employees include equity, and extensive benefits and perks as listed below.
