Partnerships & Affiliates is looking for a Senior Manager Strategy to play a meaningful role in evolving our business and redefining the travel industry. In this role, you will lead the definition and execution of initiatives that strengthen Expedia Group’s Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates business. This business is responsible for connecting Expedia Group with thousands of partners globally who leverage our technology and tools to bring travel to their audiences. This role is well-suited for results-oriented and collaborative strategic thinkers who are adept at owning projects from inspiration to completion and want to work in a dynamic, fast-moving part of the Expedia Group. What you'll do: • Recognize and frame strategic opportunities in a structured, analytical way to clearly communicate options, risks, and trade-offs • Collaborate cross functionally to inspire change by identifying and implementing the best ways of working across the organization • Lead strategic projects and investigations to drive the business forward • Facilitate the delivery of the annual plan and progress against our division’s strategic objectives • Examples of initiatives: Developing new business models, identifying new verticals for expansion, launching new commercial strategies, working with partners to shape innovation roadmap Who you are: • You bring excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategies • You have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate issues and influence others, including experience communicating complex information to senior leaders • You see the 'big picture' and use it to drive projects to successful outcomes • You are a self-starter who takes ownership and can excel in a fast-paced, fluid environment • You are a team player who actively promotes & encourages diversity of thought • Significant experience in strategy and / or similar role in a leading technology company Why join us Expedia Group recognizes our success is dependent on the success of our people. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
