Job Description

Reporting to the EDI leadership team, the EDI Analyst will support Experian Health's Patient Access Curator team through monitoring, evaluating and optimizing performance of the product set by collaborating with clients, internal and external members for the purpose of product, service and delivery excellence.

You will:

  • Participate in meetings with prospects and clients to define the detailed requirements or technical requirements for EDI solutions. Determine solution feasibility with company partners.
  • Investigate pre-existing options to satisfy business or technical requirements and makes recommendations, to reduce one-off effort and duplication.
  • Prepare client configuration documentation.
  • Translate user or business requests into technical form for developer or IT comprehension to be vetted with Product Owner.
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations personnel to document conceptual solutions with data and process flows. Consolidate all supporting business requirements documentation for the requirements and facilitate approval process.
  • Establish and enforces organization standards to maintain quality service.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, identifying and resolving any errors or discrepancies promptly to provide a smooth flow of information.
  • Coordinate with external trading partners to resolve any issues related to data exchange.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, implementation, or client/payer-side (payer or hospital/health system) experience in healthcare revenue cycle management software and technology required
  • Strong knowledge of EDI protocols and standards, specifically 27x and 83x healthcare transactions
  • Experience with business processes and workflows related to healthcare reimbursement and patient access.
  • Good knowledge and experience in using Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft 365 applications, with great proficiency in Excel and other data analytics tools.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies, including scrum and Kanban.
