ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties. The not-for-profit system is comprised of 13,000 team members, nine hospitals and a physician group that encompasses over 1,100 academic and community providers practicing in over 180 primary and specialty clinics located in more than 130 locations.
The flagship ECU Health Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, and ECU Health Maynard Children's Hospital serve as the primary teaching hospitals for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary
Experience Greeters reflect a commitment to the ECU Health values Integrity, Compassion, Education, Accountability, Safety, and Teamwork and play a vital role in championing the experience our patients, families, and visitors while in our facilities.
As a central point of contact, Experience Greeters welcome, check-in and assist all individuals who enter an ECU Health facility. They work in partnership with experience coordinators and care teams to connect patients, families and guests with the appropriate services to meet their needs. Experience Greeters partner with all hospital departments to help ensure that every person that visits the facility has an exceptional experience.
Experience Greeters assist with the visitor screening process, visitor management process, and wayfinding using technology and other resources as needed.
Minimum Requirements
High School or equivalent (GED) required
Bilingual EN/SP skills preferred
0 - 2 years experience in customer relations
Other Information
Part time with benefits
Primarily 2nd shift, but will need to have flexibility to work 1st shift.
Rotating weekend shifts
