Role: Project Manager - Internet of Things (IoT) Risk Reduction ProgramLocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)Position type: 12 months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTEPay range: $63 - $68/hr on W2 (All inclusive)Job description:The role of Program Development Analyst will be part of a global CISO Risk Reduction program chartered with the development of a program, processes, and automation development in accordance with Client’s Chief Information Security Office policies, standards, and security architecture for the “Internet of Things” (IoT.)In this role, the resource will be tasked with assisting the Client Cyber Security Infrastructure Protection organization in developing processes, driving sub-projects and automation development in support of a larger global project that will include the standardization and security engineering of the “Internet of Things” (IoT) environment at Client.Furthermore, the resource will assist in running the CISO Internet of Things (IoT) Risk Reduction program, related tasks include (but not limited to), tracking project-related activities using Agile project management tool, performing data analysis, documenting any technology solutions/business’s requirements to support the project needs, etc. He/she will also help in reviewing and updating any business’s processes if needed.The resource will report to and support the CISO Global Engineering Lead for IoT within the CISO Security Network Services team.Role and Responsibilities• Assist the Client Cyber Security Infrastructure Protection organization in development of:o Mapping existing processo Creating new Processeso Driving sub-projectso Automation development in support of a security engineering• Engage closely with stakeholders to ensure projects’ requirements and timelines meet the projects’ goals and are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.• Oversee projects progress. Identify any potential risks and deviations.• Assess and update business’s processes to enhance efficiencies and remediate any conflicts.• Assist in solutions integration/deployment and remediating any issues identified to ensure successful project delivery and completion.• Assist in system testing. Document and executing any test plans to ensure systems requirements are met as designed.• Liaise among different teams to facilitate effective communications.• Identify and document projects objectives, use cases, requirements, potential risks and challenges.Qualifications and Experience• Fundamental knowledge in any of the following: information security, network, Internet of Things (IoT), data privacy and governance, project management lifecycle, etc.• Knowledge of the project management life cycle (requirements gathering, project skills)• Certifications in any of the following: PMP, Scrum Master (or equivalent) are desirable.• Experience with any data analysis platforms/tools. (e.g. Excel, SQL, Python, Splunk, Qlik Sense, etc.).• Strong data analysis skills. Analyze data and generate reports to support the project teams.• Derive logical conclusions, identify trends and insights to drive decision making and support the businesses.• Able to work independently and collaboratively.• Should be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and self-leadership.• Proficient with MS Office – Visio, Word, Excel, Project, Access, and PowerPoint• 4-6 years’ experience in one or more fields of expertise: data analysis, systems automation, information security, and product development/engineering• General understanding and knowledge of Information Security, networks and Internet of Things is highly desirable.• Proficiency in one or more computer languages is desirable.• Good understanding of Information Security and industry best practices• The resource will have the highest level of integrity due to the sensitive nature of the information security role.• The resource must have strong technical writing skills and be able to communicate ideas and technical designs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.• The resource should have excellent communication and influencing skills.• The resource must be comfortable in working across geographies due to the global nature of the team.• Able to deliver results independently and without constant supervision.If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
