Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business PartnerLocation: Onsite 2 days/week in San Francisco, CAPay Range: $80-100/hr. W2 (depending on experience)Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Sr. HR Business Partner to provide function and office-level support for a 2-3 month opportunity with our client located in San Francisco. Ideal candidates have current or recent experience as a Business Partner within Human Resources, providing HR support as well as people strategy for part of the organization, in either a law firm, professional services firm, or a global corporate environment.Responsibilities:• Build and maintain consultative relationships with senior leaders, developing strategic plans for their areas.• Provide strategic HR guidance and insights to support business objectives.• Partner with Talent Development to enhance organizational effectiveness through leadership development, team building, and diversity programs.• Advise on organizational structure, staffing, and reporting to optimize efficiency.• Oversee performance management, guiding managers on feedback, reviews, and compensation decisions.• Develop strategies for recruitment, leadership development, and succession planning, helping managers address performance and development needs.• Collaborate with recruiters to align staffing needs and position goals.• Partner with Employee Relations to resolve complex HR issues and implement solutions.• Work with HR peers to align strategies and ensure consistency across the organization.• Assist in policy development and provide guidance on interpretation.• Ensure compliance with US and international laws, staying current on relevant updates.Requirements:• 6+ years of HR generalist experience, with international exposure (Asia and Europe) as a plus.• Strong preference for law firm experience.• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or related discipline.• Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations with expertise in HR functions, including performance management, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, and HR metrics.• SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred.• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, ideally Workday.• Highly detail oriented, determined, collaborative, and organized in work with strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.• Must be able to be onsite twice weekly in San Francisco, CA.What's in it for you?• Pay rate range = $80-100/hr.
