Speech Writer

Our client, is seeking a Speech Writer to join their team. As a Speech Writer, you will supporting top executive of the organization. This person in the speech writing position will support someone who gives high profile presentations/speeches that includes working with the White House, the governors, and the mayors.

Job Title: Speech Writer

Location: Remote, must be able to work in Central time zone

Pay Range: $60 p/h w-2 + depending upon experience

What’s the Job?

• Often times writing is needed within a 24 hour time frame so the candidates need to have a schedule whereby they can be on call at a moment’s notice.
• Most of the writing is short form writing and not long form speech writing, must be able to write for a variety of formats, including the development of PowerPoints for leadership presentations if possible.
• Be able to quickly come up to speed on a new topic and write about it.

What’s Needed?

• Speech writing experince for writing is short form writing and not long form speech writing
• Must be able to write for a variety of formats, including the development of PowerPoints
• Demonstrated experience writing for seasoned leadership.
• Education and/or government writing experince is a plus.
• Able to work overtime as needed
