Requirements
  • Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems, including SEC, SOX, audit, and bank/investor compliance requirements.
  • Provide financial updates to management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Collaborate with CFO and Controller to establish budgets, benchmarks, and reporting standards.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze financial statements and performance metrics.
  • Support the development of short and long-term operational strategies.
  • Lead the accounting team with dynamic leadership to foster trust and productivity.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, providing supervision and guidance to personnel.
  • Direct the annual audit process and manage corporate tax requirements.
  • Manage month-end close, disbursements review, payroll tax and reporting compliance, sales/use tax compliance, expense reports, bank reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Direct treasury functions, including cash controls, bank accounts, and cash wires.
  • Serve as payroll backup.
  • Oversee billing, receivables, and treasury functions.
  • Research accounting issues for GAAP and IRS compliance.
  • Lead the development and execution of tax, audit, and compliance reports.
  • Manage monthly financial statements and records.
  • Drive process improvements in accounting and business operations.


Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree and CPA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in public accounting (audit or transactional services); manufacturing experience is a significant plus.
  • At least 7 years of relevant corporate accounting experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to use analysis for problem-solving.
  • Expertise in accounting systems, ERP systems, and Office 365.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.


$135,000 - $180,000 a year
