Accountant - Hiring Immediately

Position: AccountantLocation: Texarkana, ARSalary: $65,000/yearThe Accountant will support the CFO, Assistant Controller, and Senior Accountants with project-based tasks and various other duties as assigned. This position is designed to provide flexibility, allowing the individual to engage in diverse tasks such as projects, internal controls, and covering for team members during absences (sick leave, PTO, and FMLA leave).Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Tackle complex, multi-variable problems with minimal guidance• Maintain a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM.• Compensation based on experience.• Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, multi-directional XLOOKUP, IF formulas, and workbook linking.• Compile, organize, and manage large data sets (50,000+ data points) efficiently.• Comprehend financial statements and general ledger account structures.• Implement and perform internal controls and audits as required.• Provide support for accounting functions during high-demand periods.• Manage and complete all assigned projects.• Maintain accurate and detailed records.Travel:Regular travel is required for internal audit functions at satellite locations within the tri-state area (AR, TX, LA), primarily within a workday.
