Sr. Electrical Hardware Development EngineerLocation: North Salt Lake areaPosition Overview: Our government and privately contracted client is seeking a Sr. Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to design and develop high-performance hardware, focusing on FPGA-based digital circuitry. This role involves creating and analyzing schematics and circuits for circuit boards, running simulations, and leading design reviews.Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop schematics and PCBs, oversee their development, and update designs for obsolescence.• Create and review system and component-level designs; develop BOMs and select components.• Design advanced circuitry for high-speed network systems (100/400 Gbps and beyond).• Perform hardware/software integration, testing, and debugging using various test equipment.• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians; manage project schedules and progress.• Direct PCB layout development and assess signal integrity and power delivery.• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, software, and firmware teams.Qualifications:• U.S. Citizenship required.• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in digital electronics design.• Expertise in FPGA-based digital hardware design, testing, and validation.• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
