Technology Risk, Financial Services Financial Audit IT - Contractor

Contract DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity within our Assurance practice for a Technology Risk, Financial Audit IT contractor to support client engagements aligned to our Financial Services sector.• Execute detailed IT audit procedures, including reviewing system configurations, analyzing data, and testing controls• Evaluate IT general controls and application controls during a financial statement audit• Document findings and prepare draft audit reports for review by leadership• Provide recommendations for improving IT systems and controls• Work directly with clients to understand their IT environment and related financial audit risks• Assist in the first level of review for staff and interns• Stay abreast of technological advancements and changes in audit regulations and standards• Collaborate with team members to ensure audit objectives are met on time and within budgetQualifications• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm• Relevant technical knowledge in the following areas: (a) financial statement audits/SOX; (b) SOC reporting; (c) ERP security and control reviews (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft); and (d) IPE / Key Reporting testing• CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIPT, CMA, CRISC, CIA, CIPP, or a CGEIT certification is desired, not required• Financial Services sector experience strongly preferredThe expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $50 to $110 per hour.
