This multi-functional role requires the ability to work quickly and wear many hats while meeting deadlines and goals. This position will report to the Associate Director of Treasury. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in finance, customer service, and design. The right candidate will thrive in our fun and fast-paced environment.About The Role• Be a member of the Treasury team, reporting to the Associate Director of Treasury• Investigate claims submitted by customers and the sales team and determine what action to take on them• Create credit memos for customer claims on a daily basis• Communicate with customers via email and/or phone to answer questions and provide information about open claims• Provide status updates on open claims to the sales team• Process refunds for customers• Send reminders to customers who have not yet shipped their returned products• Close any claims pertaining to customers who have not shipped their returned products within 30 days• Apply credit memos to their corresponding invoices on a customer's account• Research unapplied credit memos and identify how to apply them• Deliver reports on unapplied credit memos to key stakeholders and maintain the total unapplied credit balance under a certain threshold• Respond to and manage all inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy of information• Demonstrate passion for excellence in providing the best customer experience• Assist with additional projects as neededThis is HYBRID Role (4 days in New York City & 1 days Remote).Salary: $50,000 YearYOU HAVE/ARE:Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred• Experience in a customer service or other customer-facing role• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Passion for providing the best customer experience• Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word• Ability to handle multiple tasks and change direction based on business needs• High attention to detail and high level of accuracy• Highly organized and exceptional follow-through skills• Ability to problem solve and work well in a fast-paced environment• Comfortable working across multiple systems• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative• Comfortable working across multiple systems and in a fast-paced environment• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, Dynamics, and/or Salespad is a plusBenefits Package:Your well-being is our top priority.
