Responsibilities
Shamrock Trading Corporation seeks a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to assist with all issues related to the appearance, functionality and maintenance of Shamrock properties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work with vendors across all facilities including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, grounds maintenance, snow/ice removal, construction/renovation and related activities

Perform daily inspections of all facilities with a “critical eye” for building appearance, especially public entrances. Personally see to it that corrections are made as necessary to maintain a professional appearance

Walk properties on a regular basis to pick up trash, debris, etc.

Monitor performance of all building systems including fire safety, plumbing, HVAC, elevators and electrical issues

Help troubleshoot, recommend and implement solutions to mechanical issues as they arise

Work with existing BMS system to monitor performance of building systems and to make system adjustments as required to maintain peak building performance

Respond to all issues related to the appearance, functionality, and maintenance of facilities

Ensure buildings/systems are compliant with applicable codes, requisitions, government agency, and company directives related to building operations

Serve as company liaison when interfacing with outside inspectors, vendors and contractors

Respond to all emergency situations quickly (fire, water, power outage, equipment failure.)

Participate in property development activities including significant reorganization and internal associate relocations

Work with Facilities staff to implement and manage procedures for current and future properties including but not limited to new associate onboarding, internal workstation relocations, space reconfigurations and general building guidelines

Oversee maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and design partners

Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Associate's Degree or related technical training or experience preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a commercial general maintenance setting or contractor role

Self-starter with ability to complete assignments in a timely, systematic approach with minimal supervision

Professional appearance, demeanor and flexibility a must
-
Must be computer literate, organized and detail oriented

Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-
Must have in depth knowledge in repairs and maintenance
