Summer 2023 Server Performance Intern
LOCATION: Austin, TX
ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the LOCATION office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
-
As part of the AMD Server Performance Group, you’ll be focused on improving the performance of Cloud Native and Datacenter workloads while working with the largest customers in the cloud computing industry.

This team works closely with the silicon design teams to influence next generation AMD EPYC products.
-
Typical roles include performance analysis of the hardware microarchitecture and software stack as well as performance model development.

As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor to complete projects that are critical to AMD’s server business segment
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Academic background in Computer Architecture, SW Optimization, or Performance Modelling.
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
-
Previous work or projects dealing with architecture or performance analysis, server/datacenter workload optimization, or performance modelling.

Knowledge of Linux/Windows performance analysis tools.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.

BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
