The Director of Acquisition will be instrumental in setting the go-to-market acquisition strategy for all New Venture product launches; from budget creation, through product launch, and then defining where the product best supports our new-to-Group customer acquisition aspirations. This role will also oversee our acquisition strategy and media planning team that works across FanDuel’s existing Flywheel businesses (Racing, Daily Fantasy Sports, Faceoff, Free-To-Play, and FanDuel TV). This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to make a material impact on the business outcome for FanDuel Group.THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to play• Own go-to-market acquisition strategy for all New Venture product launches; create and own budget, develop new customer generosity proposition, oversee supporting media mix and execution, and refine approach with learnings• Develop working hypotheses about New Venture product market fit, setup structured analyses to measure results, and iterate as we learn• Present New Ventures acquisition strategy, results, and recommendations to stakeholders with a focus on Group-wide impact and outcomes• Accountable for performance of all our customer acquisition activities across Flywheel and New Venture products• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop quantitative insights to drive growth across Flywheel and New Venture businesses• Foster a test and learn culture; refine our acquisition practice by iterating and improving our reporting, insights, experiments, and partners• Manage and develop a high performing team; prioritizing data-driven storytelling and stakeholder readoutsTHE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate• 7+ years of experience in digital and growth marketing with a focus on consumer acquisition• 3+ years of managerial experience preferred• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline) preferred• Track record of delivering business outcomes for new products in the digital space• Strong financial modeling and deck making skills to tell a convincing story to stakeholders• Strong analytical rigor to your decision making; results oriented with the need to be objective and measure performance• Proven growth mindset; data driven, analytical, product driven, and highly creative• Ability and eagerness to effectively balance the big-picture strategic work with execution• Proficient in a range of tools across the marketing stack: Amplitude, Adjust, GA, Chartio preferred• Customer focused and deeply collaborative across departments• Interest in the sports gaming industry preferredPlayer BenefitsWe treat our team rightFrom our many opportunities for professional development to our generous insurance and paid leave policies, we’re committed to making sure our employees get as much out of FanDuel as we ask them to give. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
