Our client is looking for a UI/UX designer for a 100% Remote, contract role. Candidates must currently live in the US and be able to work directly on our W2 without sponsorship.

Job duties and responsibilities
Lead the design of engaging user interfaces for a variety of digital products, including mobile apps, websites, and internal software tools.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points.
Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives.
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and design principles.
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing results.
Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Adhere to style standards with Design System
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the financial industry.
Job requirements and qualifications
5+ years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role, preferably in the finance sector.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and design processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
Ability to discuss and explain design options, detail oriented and critical thinker
Up-to-date knowledge of design software including Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, or InVision
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and customer-centered
Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Experience with Finance products, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ADA, Design system is a plus.
Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
