Data Analyst - Excel & VBA Expert
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a contractor with strong Excel and Visual Basic (VBA) skills to help clean up, document, and improve a set of 15–20 complex Excel macros built over several decades. These tools interact with a custom internal application and are essential to day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Review and document existing Excel macros
- Identify what each macro does and where the data flows
- Make recommendations for improvements and error handling
- Present findings to the IT and development teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Expert in Excel and VBA
- Experience with legacy Excel systems and macro documentation
- Able to work independently and explain technical concepts clearly
- Must be onsite in Buffalo for the first 2–3 weeks; remote work available after
This is a short-term contract, flexible between 1–4 months depending on full-time or part-time availability.
