Fastenal is hiring for Logistics Fulfillment AssistantShift(s):• From Monday to Friday, the business operates between 7am and 5pm• 18 - 25 hours/weekOVERVIEW:This exciting role offers a dynamic local route and the opportunity to interact face-to-face with customers while fulfilling their needs through a range of innovative solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:In order to fulfill your responsibilities, you will need to stay up-to-date on changes in your field and develop new skills as required. This may involve attending training sessions or pursuing additional education:• Bringing goods to meet inventory demands at client sites using company cars• Engaging in routine maintenance and refilling of vending machines• One way to engage customers while making deliveries is by providing personalized service, such as addressing them by name and inquiring about their day• Meeting customer demands by fulfilling their orders at their chosen locations• Executing supplementary responsibilities when deemed necessary for the prosperity of the branchREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The position necessitates the possession of specific skills and credentials which must be met by all applicants:• This job requires individuals who are 18 years or older because of the duties involved• The position mandates that you possess a driver's license that is valid and issued by the country where the job is located, including completion of any relevant graduated license program required by your state or province• Proficient communication skills in written and oral forms are desirable traits for professional success• Proficient computer skills• Excel in a fast-paced workplace by learning how to multitask effectively and efficiently• Exhibit strong organizational and strategic planning skills to ensure smooth workflow and completion of work on time• Self-directed and confident, this employee takes ownership of their work and is able to make decisions independently• Paying close attention to details can reveal hidden opportunities for improvement and growth.
