About the Role

This person will lead the company's efforts to provide cutting-edge autonomous systems development, testing, and validation software to the US Government and defense industry. Government customers use Applied Intuition's software both for internal research and development projects (i.e. deploying their own autonomous vehicles), as well as for testing and validating external autonomous air and maritime systems to be deployed in their jurisdiction.

At Applied, you will:

  • Proactively and efficiently manage the deployment of resources with dedicated teams, virtual teams, and executive staff in support of business opportunities to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Engage new and existing customer base to explain how Applied Intuition's infrastructure software tools and services can accelerate Autonomous Vehicle development
  • Lead interactions with international, federal, and state government procurement officers
  • Demonstrate advancement of customer relationships
  • Work with the Head of Sales and our engineering team to efficiently plan and run sales meetings
  • Own a sales quota that will consistently help achieve sales metrics

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of federal government / DoD sales experience
  • Intimate knowledge of federal procurement processes
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual/quarterly goals and targets
  • Experience selling complex technologies requiring sales engineering support
  • Bachelor's Degree

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience serving in the United States Armed Forces
  • MBA degree
  • Experience selling in the Automotive or Robotics engineering space
