About the role – Account Development Representative:
The Account Development Representative will focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification, connecting with and following up on as many leads as possible and determining if they are good customer fits. They will generate and follow up on leads moving them effectively through the sales pipeline, connecting and learning about businesses and needs. Once qualified, and a demo is booked, they will be responsible for smoothly transitioning the prospect to the Sales Consultant who will take over to close the deal. Follow up on inbound leads and generate own leads through market research, identifying potential companies to contact based on specific criteria. Map potential clients, conducting research to:
Responsibilities:
- Identify key decision-makers
- Build insight enabling you to engage and educate providing solutions to problems and challenges
- Establish contact with decision-makers through cold outreach, calls, and emails
- Engage with decision-makers, identifying and understanding needs, establishing motivations, and ensuring each lead is fully qualified
- Establish a good rapport with decision makers, booking product demos and meetings on behalf of the Sales Consultants.
- Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to ensure the sales and handover processes are followed effectively
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to devise marketing materials and tools to support new sales development
- Ensure continued self-development to learn the Feefo product and new features
- Any other projects and tasks as required by the business need
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- 6 months to 1 year of experience supporting a sales team or in an outbound Sales role
- Experience researching to identify potential customers and key decision-makers
- Experience working to, and exceeding, targets with responsibility for your success.
- Experience in using CRM databases
- Be consultative, tenacious, and professional in approach, have high levels of motivation and first-class communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to build rapport at all levels, internally and externally
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Clear and effective communication skills, on the phone, in writing and person
- Effective listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High level of resilience - easily handles objections and rejections
