The Role

The FP&A Analyst will be an integral member of the FP&A team at Felix, participating in and delivering on a range of initiatives, including the budgeting and forecasting process, financial reporting and analysis, business casing and improving the efficiency of our financial processes. This role is meant for someone looking to build a career in FP&A. The FP&A Analyst will work directly with, and be coached by, the Finance Manager and CFO. The role requires someone with a grounding in finance, the willingness to work hard and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Participate and assist in FP&A activities:

  • Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis

  • Reporting and analysis for board meetings

  • Financial modelling

  • Business casing for new initiatives 

  • Systems & processes to improve efficiencies

  • Unearthing value opportunities and working with teams to implement them 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, research or buy-side roles

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Financial modelling and analysis skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelors or Masters in finance an asset

  • Experience in a high growth company an asset

  • B2C experience an asset

Seniority Level: Intermediate

Location: Toronto, Remote (Canada). We have an office in Toronto, but are currently working remotely and open to candidates from anywhere in Canada.
