About the Future Founders Program

FERMÀT's Growth&_ Rotational Program is targeted towards those in high intensity industries looking to embark on a career in tech. Our 24-month developmental program aims to help candidates with 1-4 years of experience in consulting / banking / finance build the skill set needed to succeed as an operator.

The program will consist of 2 rotations, each spanning 12 months. The first one will be on the growth management team as a Growth Manager, aimed at building the muscle around client engagement, product understanding, and strategic execution. After that, you will have the option to choose the team you want to work on, whether it is staying on the GM team or rotating elsewhere in the company to continue your growth.

About the growth management team:

The Growth Manager is the driver for a brand’s growth with FERMAT. They dive deep into customers’ marketing strategy and P&Ls and spend their time thinking about contribution margin and creative strategy and ultimately come in with a very opinionated viewpoint on how customers can scale. As a growth manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the largest and most innovative brands in commerce today - Mindbodygreen, ARMRA Colostrum, True Classic, U Beauty, and Moment to name a few. You’ll be a thought partner to c-suite executives and manage multiple senior stakeholders on high profile projects. This immersive role provides hands-on experiences across key functions, fostering a deep understanding of our business and the broader eCommerce landscape.

Other Departments you may rotate through after the GM team:

Marketing

  • Demand Creation: Dive into strategies for increasing demand and intent within our ideal customer profile (ICP) and upper market, leveraging our exceptional marketing team's capabilities to challenge conventional outbound approaches.

Sales:

  • Pipeline Generation: Learn to develop and manage outbound pipelines, engage with enterprise and partner sales, and secure referrals, all while maintaining high win rates and fostering long-term client relationships.

Product

  • Strategic Development: Participate in building and launching impactful features, focusing on initiatives that drive significant growth and avoiding incremental optimization, with an emphasis on honest project evaluation.

Finance + Operations

  • Business Operations: Build systems to better operationalize our GTM functions and track performance against KPIs. Determine ways to enhance cross-functional collaboration and work on special projects to unlock revenue upside.

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of professional experience in investment banking, consulting, or finance (or similar high-intensity industry)

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier school

  • Strong interest in developing an operator’s toolkit

  • A growth mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute with excellence

  • Passion for the eCommerce space and a desire to shape its future

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
