We’re looking for a truly exceptional person to be our first jack-of-all-trades business hire for Fern. You’ll get to own business development, pricing strategy, sales, marketing, partnerships, brand, events, and more. If you’re interested in learning what it takes to scale a product with early PMF to series A and beyond, and you consider yourself to be a highly inventive and tenacious builder, we’d love to meet you.
Non-negotiables:
Prior experience leading BD or GTM at one or more web3 companies
Intimate knowledge of or experience building and running a B2B sales function
Exceptional communicator, across written and verbal media
Highly self-motivated and autonomous
Get shit done mentality, while also being creative and thoughtful about the approach you’re taking to maximize ROI from your work
Believer in web3 and crypto’s ability to positively revolutionize finance
Able to work US time zones
Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience as a founder
You know how to always be closing in a business capacity (e.g. sales, partnerships, other opportunities)
Existing reputation and network in web3 (“not famous but known” iykyk)
Based in NYC
Technical degree
