The Role:

The People Experience team is seeking an employee-focused Benefits & Compensation Coordinator who is passionate to learn all aspects of employee Total Rewards. Reporting to the Manager,  Benefits & Compensation, you’ll assist with activities vital to creating and implementing competitive and best-in-class employee experiences. This position is fully remote and has no direct reports.

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of all benefits including employee enrollment, COBRA, wellness programs and retirement plans. 
  • Manage changes or updates to employee benefits due to life events like marriage, childbirth, etc. 
  • Provide excellent support to employees with benefits and leave of absence questions. 
  • Maintain highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality with employee information.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records within our HRIS and external vendor portals. 
  • Work with insurance plan providers and vendors to ensure employee data is enrolled correctly and benefits are delivered on time and as needed. Assist with monthly vendor invoicing and audits.  
  • Review and manage monthly payroll deductions for employee benefits, coordinating with the payroll team. 
  • Assist with employee benefit orientation and open enrollment.
  • Maintain communication with HR Business Partners/People Managers who have employees on leave to facilitate a smooth leave process and timely return to work.
  • Work with appropriate benefits vendors to ensure escalated issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
  • Prepare reports on employee benefits and leave programs and the utilization of said programs. 
  • Recommend improvements to processes, policies, resources and communications.
  • Demonstrate highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adhere to Fetch policies and procedures, and comply with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
  • Eventually assist with various compensation activities; entering salary changes in HRIS, conducting job/pay analysis, maintaining pay bands and preparing reports for leaders.  
  • Performs other related duties as needed.

  • You know when to escalate and can take action to resolve any open issues. 
  • You’re continually looking for new and better ways to do things that support employees and our employee value proposition better. 
  • You’re skilled at maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion. This role requires regular involvement in confidential employee and company matters.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about getting the details right
  • Proficient with Google Suite and related software
  • Solid understanding of benefits programs, enrollment processes, and compliance requirements
  • Familiar with UKG/UltiPro is a plus

Compensation: 

At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
