Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to emergency and critical care patients
• Monitor vital signs and physical condition of patients
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, IV catheter placement, and blood draws
• Assist in the triage process for incoming patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' condition and treatment plans
• Support the veterinary team in all aspects of patient care during overnight shifts

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a focus in emergency or critical care preferred
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) is preferred
• Proficient in emergency care skills, including IV catheter placement, intubation, anesthesia monitoring, and urgent patient care
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays
