Fluidra’s looking for a Fiberglass Chop Gun Operator to join our team at our Plant in Jacksonville, FL.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Chop Gun Operator are guided by the company procedures and directives, it involves handling various parts and tools used in the manufacturing of Fiberglass Filters. Additionally, you will:

Must be comfortable placing spray chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto prepared molds using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachment.

Must be capable of working prolonged periods standing, squatting, and bending.

Must always follow all safety policies including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Must maintain daily cleanliness of the workstation.

Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of equipment.

Ability to work in all environmental conditions and non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facilities.

Responsible for completing build log.

Must be able to lead a team and train new hires.

Clean and prepare molds for use.

Chop fiberglass onto molds, managing weight and thickness per part specifications.

Roll chopped fiberglass as it is applied to remove air pockets.

De-mold (remove part from mold)
-
Assist with sub-assembly of products as needed.

Must be able to work on your feet in 90+ degree temperatures during summer.

Must be able to lift 50lbs, push molds around the plant, and bend over molds to insert fiberglass accurately.
- Perform all other tasks required by leadership
WHAT WE SEEK

3 Years Minimum experience spraying and maintain fiberglass chop equipment.
