This role will be focused primarily on our future state SaaS platform, its customer portal, and integrations capability. Other responsibilities will be to define and communicate the technology vision and roadmap and guiding the development team on best practices as they iterate towards future state. Partnering with the development teams and product managers to help them understand technology interactions, costs, and benefits.The Company is unable to sponsor applications for work visas.LOCATION• This role can sit in Jacksonville, FL or Raleigh, NC• Hybrid schedule with up to 2 days work from homeDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Pioneers the design and implementation of new technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies• Collaborates with business and IT leaders to understand the current and future needs and challenges and provide architectural guidance and recommendations• Provides technical guidance and mentorship on technologies, development, and deployments• Ensures compliance with industry standards and company policies for technical solutions• Works on an Agile team supporting multiple new and existing applications utilizing Microsoft technology stack• Documents architecture designs and development procedures• Develops and implements cloud backup and disaster recovery strategies• Ensures technical systems comply to security, performance, and availability standards• Assists with onboarding new engineers to help grow engineering teams• Provides technical support and assist with triaging technical issuesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education and experience• Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of successfully architecting high performance SaaS solutions• Strong understanding of Microsoft's full technology stack• Strong background in software and system designPREFERRED EXPERIENCE• Relevant certifications in the software architecture field• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools• Understanding of Azure infrastructure and architecture resources and how they're used for building different scalable application architectures• Experience running microservices and container-based workloads in production• Experience with architecture patterns for resiliency and geo-redundancy• Experience with monitoring end to end telemetry, and operations at-scale in Azure• Strong analytical and communication skills for technical collaboration with cross-functional teamsEQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICYFNF, its affiliates and subsidiaries, is an Equal Opportunity employer.
