We are remote first forever with a 4½ day workweek that finishes every Friday at 1pm.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced field marketing manager to execute an events strategy focused on driving engagement and sales opportunities across EMEA. This strategy will include a mix of marketing and design conferences, industry trade shows, small-scale experiences, and virtual events.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong mix of analytical and creative skill sets, with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and build creative solutions to challenging problems. We need a highly-collaborative team player who can work across teams and create scalable programs that set us up for our next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Trade shows and events: A large part of this role will be planning and executing a calendar of field events, both sponsored and hosted, to engage our ICP across EMEA. These events will be evaluated and selected in partnership with the sales teams based on priority accounts or target segments, and executed in partnership with the demand generation, digital, and creative teams.
  • Planning and logistics: The field marketing manager will rigorously organize selected events, with a detailed run of show, clear objectives, and well-communicated plan to all stakeholders and participants. They will manage vendor relationships to fulfill collateral, swag, or material and experiential needs, as well as ensure travel details are solidified for on-the-ground team members.
  • Budget management: The field marketing manager will manage all aspects of the event budget, ensuring proper allocation across the calendar events according to opportunity size. They will track all receipts, invoices, and team charges to make sure we have a complete view of our investments against our expected outcomes.
  • Pipeline generation: After each event, the field marketing manager will work with the operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure proper list processing, lead nurture, and sales follow-ups and own the delivery of sales opportunities against our targets.

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • 3-5 years of experience working in field or event marketing
  • Past experience running both large and small events that had a direct impact on sales pipeline
  • Past experience working directly with sales teams
  • Past experience working with partners to drive co-branded activations
  • Experience working with various CRM systems
  • An understanding of the event technology landscape with some experience and preference for certain vendors
  • Exceptionally organized with a strong attention to detail
  • A strong outcome-oriented mindset
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
