Field Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Field and Partner Marketing Manager at BlueCat. The ideal candidate will be a team player who will support Europe / Middle East / Africa marketing requirements, work collaboratively with local EMEA sales leadership and our regional partners, and develop, manage, execute and report on EMEA marketing activities. Preferred location is based in the UK/I, this role serves as a regional extension of the Corporate Marketing team and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
This is an individual contributor role at BlueCat that operates cross-functionally across countries, cultures, and time zones. You’ll be working closely with subject matter experts across the company to advise and execute local marketing plans, including local and regional events, partner marketing and corporate demand campaigns, as well as ensuring all our content is local language accessible.

We need your help in these critical areas:

Field Marketing Events
  • Define and develop our local EMEA events strategy – to include tradeshows, partner events, industry associations and customer events.
  • Manage event vendors, agencies, and suppliers.
  • On-site event management including logistics, shipping, staffing the event, ensuring leads are captured, managed and communicated.
  • Promote events via local language social media posts.
  • Providing reporting on pipeline created, number of leads closed and won from events.
Partner Marketing
  • Serve as first point of contact for regional Partner Marketing efforts including joint partner marketing campaigns, trade shows, partner sales kick-offs, etc..
  • Coordinate with our Corporate marketing team to plan and execute Partner Marketing campaigns within budget.
  • Provide on-site support to Partner Events, as needed.
  • Assist Corporate marketing team with local market development funds management/co-op marketing budgets for EMEA partners.
  • Provide reporting on partner leads/deal registrations influenced by your marketing efforts.
Demand Generation/Digital Marketing
  • Collaborate with our Corporate Demand team to identify opportunities, plan, and execute local language digital marketing campaigns.
  • Track and report local campaign metrics.
Cultural and local language expertise
  • Make sure everything is sorted in the UK, and genau in Germany.
  • Keep us on track, and never let us schedule an event over a local banking holiday.
  • Be a champion for local time zone webinars, don’t just settle for corporate replays.
  • Watch out for and quickly correct any spelling or translation errors on our local language websites and marketing materials.
Professional Qualifications
3+ years (minimum), 5 years (preferred) in a field marketing role (preferably experienced in partners, events, demand generation) for enterprise software companies.
Experience operating within a global organization, working across time zones and cultures.
Familiarity with marketing to the UK, Ireland, and German speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Event management, industry trade shows, corporate road shows.
Reporting, tracking key metrics, and budgets.
Strong financial judgement and understanding of how to prioritize.
