JOB SUMMARY

2-6 month assignment. Maintain jobsite safety requirements and safety inspections. Must have experience writing Hot Work Permits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees field activities and monitors the environment for health and safety violations.

Enforces use of safety equipment

Monitors emergency action plans.

Investigates accidents and prepares accident reports Identifies potential causes for accidents and recommends changes in policies and procedures to prevent accidents and illness.

Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.

Providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.

Acts as advisor to health and safety administration team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Requires experience in health, safety and/or environmental.
• Requires working knowledge of regulatory process.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstration of the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
