Figma is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for the Interactive Foundations team to lead the development of runtime APIs and enhance product features in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities: Lead a team of engineers to improve the platform and runtimes for Figma's interactive features, collaborate with product leadership, and ensure a positive work atmosphere.
Skills: Experience managing high-output engineering teams, expertise in complex systems focusing on performance and reliability, and strong leadership capabilities.
Qualifications: At least 2 years of management experience and 5 years in engineering; added experience in animation frameworks is a plus.
Location: Remote within the United States or from Figma's offices in San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $160,000 - $220,000.
The Interactive Foundations team is responsible for creating and maintaining our runtime APIs and implementations to support rich, high fidelity interactions and animations across our product suite. Our team’s work is critical to ensuring product teams like Prototyping and Slides have the platform to empower our customers to bring their designs to life in new and exciting ways. You’ll lead the team to enable engineers at Figma to easily develop the next generation of interactive Figma features and products.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
