Software Engineer, FigFile Platform

Figma is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the FigFile Platform team. The team is responsible for backend services storing and synchronizing Figma Design and FigJam files. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and scaling distributed systems and working with large-scale cloud deployments.

Skills

Experience with building and scaling distributed systems
Strong technical communication skills
Ability to work across multiple teams and functions
Experience mentoring other engineers
Problem-solving skills and bias for action

Responsibilities

Building infra that makes working with FigFiles fast, easy, and secure
Designing, building, and operating scalable infrastructure
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs and build innovative features
Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Debugging production issues across services and stack levels
