Software Engineer - Server Platform

Figma is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the Server Platform team to help build the next-generation platform for scalable, observable, reliable, and cost-efficient services. This role involves designing, building, and operating infrastructure systems and services for Figma's innovative design and collaboration tools.

Skills

4+ years of experience building infrastructure components/services at scale
Experience with distributed systems and scaling
Proficient in Compute, Deployment, Infrastructure as Code, Traffic, or Observability systems at scale
Track record of building high-quality products in high growth environments
Strong problem-solving skills and technical communication

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure systems and services
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Work with engineers across the company to build innovative new features at scale
Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
