We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Accountant to join our team. As an integral part of our team, you will help our customers understand their books, financials and be successful with finally. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
You will own the post sales consultation, communication and setup with the customer.
You will help onboard and present financials to customers.
Analyze financial statements.
Promote the value of the product and service throughout your financial presentations to customers.
Assist in creating training courses and educational materials as an early hire in a newly developed role.
Flag dark or escalated situations/customers to AEs and Team Leads
Collaborate closely with the Accounting Team to understand the timelines for deliverables and what is needed from the client to expedite those deliverables.
Work closely with accounting team to ensure we are understanding the needs and goals of our customers.
Tracking of all customer communication and Accounting needs/requirements.
Consistent follow-up on customer timelines and clear communication on internal teams that are there to support the customer.
Requirements:
2+ years in a Accounting Role.
Strong native English
Accounting degree
B.A, B.S or equivalent experience
Understand accounting principles and functions in addition to how businesses manage cash flow, and a basic understanding in economics.
Experience working with Quickbooks online
Understand how to read financials like P&L and Balance sheet
A strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills and willingness to learn
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
Proven ability to provide direct, proactive, and prompt response to customer issues, and resolutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Ability to adapt to different customer personalities and situations during outreach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Nice to have’s:
A background in Banking, Finance, and Accounting.
Spanish Speaking - English / Bilingual
Knowledge of customer relationship management software, preferably Salesforce
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with any accounting systems like Xero, NetSuite, SAP
Accounting firm experience
Working Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-office position with a 5-day workweek. Office hours are typically from (9:00AM - 6:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
This role is onsite and in person in the San Juan, Puerto Rico office.
